Modern Japanese

I will tell you about change in Japanese language reflect the changing attitudes about respect and politeness in Japanese. Japanese influenced by other countries and groups of people. Some words are borrowed from other languages. Also the honorific words are changing by other countries and groups of people.
At present, there are a lot of corrupt Japanese among young people. Japanese borrows words from English and Japanese is changing over the past. Now some words are borrowed from English but there aren’t any English in Japan. Japan has influenced by language’s culture of America and groups of people. Japanese has two ideas about this thing. First, to agree with Japanese is changing. Japanese become intelligible and lucid by to borrow from English. For example, spoon is Saji or scarf is Erimaki in Japanese but most Japanese don’t say Saji or Erimaki. Because Japanese have desire for Western. I think Westerners are very tall and have golden hair or brown hair. They are cool and longing for Japanese. Also, the internationalization is advanced in the world. English is very important skill for us. So Japanese people are interested in English. However, foreign people who live in Japan have a question about this thing. Because there is too much Japanese English in Japan. For example, we say “Makudo” or “Makku” for McDonald’s and “Sekuhara” for sexual harassment to impress. Of course, foreign people can’t understand those. The meaning and pronunciation are very different between real English and Japanese English. It looks strange as well. So Many foreign people criticize Japanese for using Japanese English but it hasn’t decreased. In fact it is increasing. I think Japanese English is not English, it is a kind of Japanese. Maybe it is a important and traditional Japanese culture. Second, there are contrary opinions about some words are borrowed from other languages too. Old people think primary Japanese has to keep forever. Especially, honorific word is a particular part of Japanese culture. Japanese have to respect and veneration for our elder. It is very rude if young people don’t speak correctly phrase.
Also, we have to put the prefix after family name in Japan. For example, students usually call Tanaka Sensei or Yamada Sensei of teacher at school. We must not call Tanaka or Yamada because to put the prefix means respect for them. On the other hand, American students may call first name of the teacher at school. I think America and Japan have strong cultures and are both traditional each other. So we have to pass down the best parts of our the future. However, today to using prefixes is not so important for young people. Because most young people are influenced by Westerners. This is not good. The death of the honorific words means the death of the best part of Japanese culture and tradition. Also, those things are occurring at home too. Japanese call their fathers, Oto-san their mothers, Oka-san their brothers, Oni-chan and their sisters, One-chan. I think the prefix makes them conscious of family’s role and hierarchical relationship at home. However, Westerner calls them. For example, there are Neil, Ben, Liz or Mary. Recently, Japanese call each other with first names. It is influenced by western’s culture. The internationalization is advanced in the world. And good parts of culture and tradition are dieing.
Japanese language is influenced by other countries. This is not bad but we have to keep strong cultures and traditional because the characteristic of each countries are gone if we don’t keep strong culture and traditional.

New chanpion

Good afternoom, everyone. Today I will tell you about boxing. November 29, title match was taken place of boxing. The game was Chanpion's Naito versus challenger's Kameda. Do you know them? I hate Kameda because he always not polite and insult for everyone. I think it is really bad. I want Naito to win the game. However, he lost the title match and he was taken the champion belt by Kameda. I knew the result by TV news. I was very depressed when I heard the news. Naito's face was swelling and espeacially his nose was metamorphosed by Kameda. Kameda got decision. He have great power and speed because he is 23 years old yet. On the other hand, Naito is 35years ago. His characteristic is irregular boxing such as uppercut. However he looks very bad condition. Before the match start he said that I will retire if I lose today. So I felt I will be not able to watch the him match when he lost. However, he decided to continue the boxer. I felt really happy when I heard it. I hope he challenge to kameda again and win. Because I love Naito. He is very gentleman and greatman. Finally, Which do you like Kameda or Naito?? Please tell me your opinion!!

Do you like dogs??

Good afternoon, everyone. How are you?? I'm very good but recently I usually feel the cold. I don't like winter because I have a weak chest and I have had a cold every year. How about you?

Today, I'll tell you about my pet. Do you know the dog in this picture? This is a kind of papillon from France or Belgium.

This dog's feature is ear like butterfly. This dog is named Wressy. I think it is the prettiest in my town because this dog has a fine fur and clever. Also he can do "shake hands" and "sit" etc.. When dog and I were walking about concourse, he looks very fun. And he always fawn on other dogs in it.

In my house, Wressy always lie like this picture. Especially, to lie on the newspaper makes him comfortable and pleasant.

Hideki Matsui

Hi, everyone. How areyou?? Today, I will tell you about my favorite sport player. Do you know the man in this picture? He is Hideki Matsui who belongs to NY Yankees. Yankees won the world series this year. He originally could play right field for Yankees but he hurted his knee. So he took part in the world series as a DH(designated hitter). He really played an active part in the game and got the MVP of the game. Japanese have never got the MVP on the world series. So I think Matsui is the best player in Japan. Anyway, do you know nickname for him? Of course, it is Godzilla!! Why Godzilla? Beacuse he is very powerful and strong like Godzilla. Also, I think his face looks like it too.

Now he is 35 years old and expert. I hope he come back to Yomiuri Giants of Japan because I am supporter of it.

study abroad!!

Good afternoon, everyone. How are you?? I'm very good. Yesterday, I watched A Christmas Carol at Tanimoto auditorium. Did you watch it?? It was very good and interesting. The scene is one christmas eve day, the story has started. In fact, I want to tell you about the story but I want to you watch it yourself. So I hope you watch it in AV library. Today I want to hear about your opinion to study abroad. More peoplo should study abroad. Last week, I asked Ben of overseas student in KGU. Where should I go in America if I go to America and study there for 1 semester? Then he taught me a lot about study abroad. USA is very wide so there are dialect among many parts of the country. We should go to the state where is spoken beautiful pronunciation. Of course there are many dialect in Japan like Osaka Japanese and Kagoshima Japanese. I think to study dialect is very interesting and important. However I want to study standard English because beautiful pronunciation makes me cool and smart. Also, he said Oregon, California, Washington and Seattle have beautiful pronunciation. But Kentucky, Texas, Louisiana and Kansas have strange pronunciation for Japanese.

I wanna go Spain!!

Good afternoon, everyone. How are you? I'm pretty good. Today, I'll tell you about Spain and I hope you enjoy reading my blogs. I have studied Spanish since last year and it is very fun. Before I enter at the KGU, I wanted to study both English and any other foreign language. And I decided Spanish for several reasons. First, I heard it is easy to learn for Japanese from my teachers of cram school for university entrance examinations because grammar of Spanish is similar to English. Second, there are many countries which are spoken Spanish all over the world. Espeacially, People who live South America except from Brazil talk in Spanish.Finally, I am interested in soccer. Spain is very famous for soccer. I want to watch soccergame in Spain. So I have learned it since freshman Now, I can feel happy to learn both English and Spanish.

~what's the best winter sport for you?~

I always get exciting when I am playing snowboarding. My favorite sport is snowboarding because it makes me happy and vigorous. I usually go to Hokkaido or the Tohoku district to play snowboarding almost every winter. Lately I often go to Sapporo Kokusai ski run because there are much so good snow. So you will not feel pain if you fall on there. I think quality of snow is very important to play snowboarding for us. Regrettably, There is no snow during all the year around in Osaka. I spend too much money to come to Hokaido but I think it is really good because it is the best my hobby. I am looking forward to playing it from now. Beacause I can't forget very beautiful scenes and many forest was tipped with snow from the top of mountain. It is so extensive and wonderfully. Espeacially, It is very thrilling to play it for night game but I can see the beautiful night view. I think one of the enjoyment to see the sence too.Also, I can feel really fresh air from the top of mountain. It makes me just fine or pleasant. Reasons like those, my favorite sport is snowboarding.

My favorite teacher

Good afternoon everyone. Today I will tell you about my favorite teacher. My favorite teacher is Duncan White. Maybe he is 50 years old and from Bancouver, Canada. He is a teacher of KGU. I was taught communication-1 by him when I was freshman. He become bald and a little fat. Do you know him??

I have learned English since junior high school but I could not take the lesson of foreigner because there are no foreigner in my school. So I didn't start to hear English of native speaker until I was 18. I felt happy when I passed KGU because there are many native speaker of English. I always talked with him in English. Also he gave me some advices. First, "use the many gestures when you want to tell something. Second, "you must relax and correctly pronounce!! Finally "you should actively speech and don't be shy!! Those three principles are my goals. I could get many knowledge from him. I hope my English will improve a lot.

experience Japan

Hello,everyone. Today I will tell you about my summar vacation. This picture was taken by me in Uzumasa-Eiga Mura of Kyoto September 23. They are over students at Kansai Gaidai. I applied ''experience Japan'' which is planed by CIE. I thought over students must be interested in traditional towns in Kyoto because they wanted to learn culture, sense of value and idea in old Japan. So we came to Uzumasa-Eiga Mura. Also we could experience life of the Edo era.

Uzumasa- Eiga Mura is constructed in 1975 and more than 58.000.000 people entered it. Also it is reconstructed for edo era and the direction often film period play too. we could watch the spots. It was very powerful and exciting. Also they look really cool like real Samurai. Especially sword was very big and sharp. I felt a little danger or they must be the security risk. We took the many picture. After that we ate lunch. They wanted to eat Japanese food like Udon or Tempura. So we ate it.

In fact they can't talk japanese. So I have to talk in English with them but it was a very good chance because my English improved a lot. If you want to improve your English, you should get the chances to talk English with foreign people.

At Shinsekai

I spent a good time with my friends in shinsekai last weekend for several reasons. Shinsekai（新世界） is located in JR Shinimamiya-station and famous for Tsuutenkaku（通天閣）or kushi-katsu. Tsuutenkaku is symbol of Osaka and there is crowed with young people.

First, we were going to eat Kushi-katsu but there were many kushi-katsu restaurants. We had a little money. So We decided to go the most cheapest restaurant. We ate kushi-katsu and drank beer in it. I think the first sip is the best. Beer makes us happy and pleasant. But I overdrinked. I don't remember anything after five beer. I breaked about one hour. Next, we went up Tsuutenkaku. We surprised at beautiful sence. Also, night view makes us comfortable and cozy.

We had a relax in there. You should go Tsuutenkaku if you have the chances. Because we had a really good time there.

My opinion

The students who are studying English should study abroad for several reasons. First, the students can learn not only English but also foreign culture through study abroad. To study foreign culture is so important and essential because they can understand feature each countries. Also, they won't be able to know all of foreign culture in Japan. To study foreign culture makes them wise and happy. Second, to stay foreign country must be the best way to English because there are many good chances to talk in English in foreign country.Especially, native speakers of English are the best teacher for them. So, if they go to foreign university to study, they should go the countries that is spoke English by native speakers in English. For example, there are America, United Kingdom, New Zealand, Canada, and Australia. Finally, study abroad will give us chancesto grow up as a human being. The students will be able to get valueable experiences and won't be able to get them in Japan. They will be able to get things after study abroad. So, students who are studying English should study abroad.

My favorite place

My favorite place is bar(Japanese calls it Izakaya). Bar is the place that we drink alcohol and smoke. I usually go to bar at the end of the week. I can get the relax in there. Because alcohol and tobacco make me happy. I am always looking forward to come weekend. In fact, I am working in bar near the Kyobashi as part-time job. It names Sakura-Yururi. There are 90 separate each rooms and private rooms. I think I can spend free time in there. Also, size of rooms are not big place, it size makes me very comfortable and cozy. By the way, I am working in there about three times at a week. The most popular food is fried chicken and we have alcohols and cocktails for over fifty.
Recently, I often go there to get the relax when I have no part-time job. I usually sit near by the window. Because I can see the beautiful night view and some groves from here. Also, on a rainy night, I watched the rain from there and am happy that I don't have to go anywhere.
Eventually, beautiful night view and some groves with drinking and smoking make me cozy or comfortable. Also, I feel very happy and ralaxed in there.

There are 30 separate each rooms and private rooms. I think I can spend free time in there. Also, size of rooms are not big place, it size makes me very comfortable and cozy.

The representative of soccer Japan got the participation right of the World cup.
Okada's Japan won against Uzbekistan on the Asia's final preliminary in Tashkent. Japan took a 1-0 lead the first half by Shinji Okazaki. He is one of the best FW player in Japan. Also he has a Samurai spirit. I think he will be a top class player in the world.
I was moved by his goal. He did the diving head that pass of Kengo Nakamura. It was very cool!!
Then the second half, Japan was counterattacked by Uzbekistan. Tashkent was enemy land for Japan. Almost audience was Uzbek. So, referee favored Uzbekistan over Japan. Japan was fighting very hard then. But the accident was happend at just before time up. Makoto Hasebe was fouled because referee judged that he hit with Uzbek player. Also Okada manager was fouled too because he protested this thing. However I don't think so!! It must be a incident. Of course, judgment didn't reversed. It came time that time up. Japan won against Uzbekistan. Japan obtained the participation right of the World cup.

My scary story

I had a scary story experience when I was a junior high school student. One day, I went to Chinese reataurant after school in Kyobashi. This is very big and popular among young peoplo. And I ordered up chinese noodle from chinese restanrant. Because I heard the good rumor that is the most delicious in there. I was very hungry and I would like to eat it. It smells of chinese noodle in the restaurant. After 10 minutes, staff gives me a chinese noodle. I was surprised when I had a chopstick. I saw the big and black thing in it . Cautiously, I took the it. It was a cockroach. I was very cry. I can't touch it. I havenot ate it since then and I won't there.

~My Really Scary Story~

Good afternoon, everyone!! Have you ever done a scary experience? Today, I'll tell you about my really scary story. Then turn off the light and watch by oneself. This is a true story and mysterious but NOT TOO SCARY. I hope you'll like it.

I had a scary experience when I was a high school student. I stayed grandmather's home during summer vacation in Kagoshima-prefecture. There are many natures around her home. And there are no outdoorlights. I feel fear when it turns night. When I was doing homework in the middle of the night, I heard the strange sound - like run down the hall noisily. Perhaps there are some mouses.

One midnight I was doing homework, I heard the sound like go up to stairs. I was very surprised at this sounds. And door was opened by someone. But a standing woman is my grandmother. She said "What are you doing there? I feel relief at this thing. I was very scared.

Hi, everyone. Today, I'll tell you about my Golden week. In fact, I was taking care of my neighbor's dog during Golden week. Because, my neighbor traveled in Shikoku with his family. So I looked after dog. Do you know the dog in this picture? This dog is "Papillon". This dog's feature is ear that look wing of butterfly. And my familly called him "Ressy"(レッシー）. He was very very intelligent. He can do shake hands(ote), sit(osuwari) and drop(fuse) anytime. My family took the dog out alternately everyday. I usually went to dry riverbed near my house. To walk with dog was first for me. Ressy looked very glad and happy during walking. And I got to relax that thanks to Ressy during Golden week. But I felt sad when I gave back Ressy to my neighbor after Golden week. So, I want to have a dog right now.
